Live Viper Jazz in Rochester and Rutland
Music Lovers, Million Shares Productions is putting on 2 very special shows with WOODY PINES and his band from North Carolina. WOODY PINES will be bringing his Country Blues, Ragtime and Viper Jazz to South Station, Route 7 in Rutland on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 28th and Historic Pierce Hall on Route 100 in Rochester, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 29th, with both shows between 7 – 10 pm. Each show has special opening sets by locals Jensen Ellen in Rutland and Jake Wildwood in Rochester. Certain talented musicians have the ability to transport the listener to a different place and time. For Woody Pines, you find yourself in the Mississippi Delta when AM radio is king. The band; comprised of Woody on guitar, banjo, harmonica and lead vocals, upright bass, drums, and clarinet; epitomizes the swinging ragtime and country sound and embraces a simpler time. These shows is are all ages and under 12 are free. Refreshments will be available, provided by South Station & Sandy’s Books & Bakery.
